Dynamic scoping example
WebDynamic Scoping. Some (mostly older) languages use dynamic scoping. A current example of a language with dynamic scoping is Emacs Lisp, the customization and extension language for emacs. Using the dynamic scoping rule, we first look for a local definition of a variable. If it isn't found, we look up the calling stack for a definition. WebIn a lexically scoped language, func1 would always look in the global scope for the value of x, because func1 is defined in the local scope. In a dynamically scoped language, func1 looks in the scope where it is called. When it is called from within func2, it first looks in the body of func2 for a value of x.
