Webb13 apr. 2024 · Physicalism, on the other hand, tells us every force, energy, and “essence” is connected to one reality. That reality is based on physical material. This is ontological monism, the view that all is one, but it is not the “Oneness” as found in Spinoza, who felt we are at once both material and spirit, just not solely based on the property of being physical.
